Daniel 5:1-17 "Writings On The Wall"

Belshazzar's story in Daniel chapter 5 serves as a great warning to us about disrespecting God in our own lives; we’re all guilty of doing it because every time we sin, we disrespect God…every time we don’t follow His will for our lives, we disrespect Him…whenever we fail to spend time in prayer and in reading His Word, we disrespect Him. So, what our passage teaches us today is what we can do to help avoid disrespecting God; specifically, we must stamp out any blasphemy in our lives, we must remember that He is in control, and we must allow ourselves to be faithful instruments that He can use as He sees fit.
