Daniel 4:28-37 "The Animal I Have Become"
After Nebuchadnezzar's dream of a tree, Daniel begged the king to renounce his sins by doing what is right and his wickedness by being kind to the oppressed; but Nebuchadnezzar refused to heed that warning. He didn't see anything wrong with his behavior, so he didn’t feel the need to change it…that is the definition of stubbornness: he thought he was right and he was unwilling to listen to anyone else, including God. That’s why this passage does such a great job of teaching us how we can work to avoid stubbornness in our own lives.
