In this passage, God once again gives Nebuchadnezzar a vision in a dream, a warning of what’s to come if Nebuchadnezzar continues on in his wicked ways. And what we see from this this dream and its interpretation is a warning against pride. Specifically, it teaches us that, to avoid the dangers of pride, we must remember that it is God who is in control of all things, we must understand that God is quick to humble the proud, and we must strive to be faithful to Him in all things and do what is right in His eyes.
