Easter Sunrise Service 2026: Luke 24:1-12 "He Has Risen!" Rev. Keith T. Reid

This Easter sunrise, we take a look at the story of Jesus' resurrection from the Gospel according to Luke. Jesus’ victory over death on that first Easter Sunday morning was a total victory that bought the gift of eternal life for all who believe in Him. Further, His return strengthened and motivated the disciples to spread the Good News. So, this week, I want us to focus on the fact that Jesus’ resurrection is an undeniable, historical fact, and then I want us to look at how Jesus had to be resurrected to claim full and final victory over sin and death and that He had to be resurrected in order that the disciples would be strengthened and fortified in order to preach the Good News of the Gospel throughout the world.
