Galatians 4:8-20 "Zealous For Christ" Rev. Keith T. Reid
The Galatians had seemingly placed their faith in Christ and received the freedom that comes from that; however, in turning back to the observance of the Mosaic Law, they had abandoned the freedom they found in Christ to return to the bondage of sin and the Law. And, because of this, Paul questions whether they truly ever had saving faith in the first place because true saving faith doesn’t want to return to bondage, saving faith wants to live in freedom; saving faith is not zealous for the Law, it is zealous for Christ.
