This week, as we continue our series on why we believe what we believe, we are going to be looking at the creation story in Genesis 12. Obviously, the big debate regarding the formation of the earth, and the universe as a whole, is whether it was designed and created by God or whether it happened through a series of natural processes such as the Big Bang and evolution. So, what we are going to do today is simply look at the text of Genesis, of the account of creation given to us in God’s Word, and see what it tells us about the origin of the world. Let’s let God’s Truth stand on its own and tell us how God physically acted to create the universe and the world as we know it.
